VIOLIN AND PIANO DUO

Patricia has formed a duo with the violinist David Hanesworth. Previously, they were founder members of the Maggini Piano Trio with the cellist Brian Meddemmen, and a separate trio with the flautist Odinn Baldvinsson, playing in prestigious venues including the Fairfield Halls and the Royal Opera House.

Patricia and David have performed regularly in London and the South-East, playing many of the major works in the piano and violin repertoire. Most notably, they have recently performed the complete violin and piano works of Brahms in a series of recitals at St. Matthew’s, Redhill in 2022, and St. Mary-le-Strand, London in 2023.

David has been a member of the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, for forty-five years, playing under some of the finest conductors of our time. His work has included tours to Japan, South Korea, Europe, and the United States. As a first violinist, he has appeared on stage on many occasions, notably in Cinderella, Wozzeck, Don Giovanni, and Peter Grimes. He has freelanced widely and has also been a guest leader of Surrey Opera.
